Gobillard Cuvée Prestige Millésimé Brut Champagne
Complex tertiary aromas of dried fruits and hazelnuts that lead to an elegant palate of citrus blossom, greengage and honey. It is a connoisseur's wine, made with hand selected Premier Cru grapes, delivering the ultimate expression of premium Champagne.
Champagne Gobillard is situated in the heart of the Champagne region just 5 km from Epernay with the magnificent village of Hautvillers dominating its vineyard. It was about 1861 when Dom Perignon, then cellar-master in the benedictine abbey of Hautvillers, invented champagne as we know it today and it is thanks to this important event that Hautvillers became the most renowned village of the region. The family champagne house of JM Gobillard et Fils cultivates about 25 hectares of vines, mostly in the Premier Cru vineyard of Hautvillers. They also receive grapes from some 75 hectares of vines through agreements with growers selected for their expertise and quality. Passion, dynamism and know-how characterise this family business, with each stage carefully and rigorously controlled, while fully respecting the Champagne tradition.
Mature, elegant and developed fragrance with great character. Dry, fresh, balanced flavor with hints of almond, hazelnut, dried fruits and ripe apple. Great finesse, developed and generous. Long on the finish.
